Currently, 770 million people worldwide lack basic reading and writing skills.
Two thirds of them are women, making them the most affected population group. But an estimated 53 percent of ten-year-old children from low- and middle-income countries cannot read or understand simple stories.
A high-quality education is the foundation for creating sustainable development.

HELP ACHIEVE SDG TARGET 4.6! AS PART OF THE 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) ISSUED BY THE UN, SDG 4.6 AIMS TO ACHIEVE GLOBAL LITERACY AND NUMERACY BY THE YEAR 2030.
The thrill of reading.
Millions of children don't have access to
books. The few books they have though, are often not very well sourced literature, cheaply
produced editions and therefore, in general, not the kind of books that are enjoyable to
read from and engage younger readers.

After collecting the Story Teller proceedings, ATOZ will buy personal sourced, beautiful books for first-
readers up to heavier literature for older kids and teenagers and donate them to orphanages and schools in poor communities.
We all know the thrill of reading a good, well sourced book, so we are going to bring world-literature to poor communities all
around the world. This will make reading a lot more enjoable and support the United Nations goal of Global literacy.
